DTF stands for direct-to-film. Your design gets printed onto a special film, then heat-pressed straight onto the garment. The result is a full-colour print that bonds into the fabric and sits soft to the touch. No screens. No colour limits. No setup charges per colour. That is why it suits branded workwear so well.

Screen printing builds a separate screen for every colour, which means setup costs and a minimum quantity to make it worth doing. DTF skips all of that. Full colour, no screen setup, no minimum order. For branded workwear in small to mid quantities, with a logo that has more than a colour or two, DTF usually wins on both cost and finish.
